Berkshire County: Pop-up rail plan advocacy meetings

Local rail advocacy groups Trains In The Valley, Citizens for a Palmer Rail Stop and The Train Campaign announce plans to hold pop-up meetings across the region.

Informal drop-in meetings will provide information about the now-in-draft 2018 Massachusetts State Rail Plan.

Meetings are scheduled in Berkshire County as follows:

- Mason Library, 231 Main St., Great Barrington, 4 to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 15.

- Bushnell-Sage Library, 48 Main St., Sheffield, 4 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16.

- Milne Public Library, 1095 Main St., Williamstown, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21.

- Berkshire Athenaeum, 1 Wendell Ave., Pittsfield, 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28.

Meetings will be posted on Eventbrite and then shared via Facebook.
